How do I get the B1600 to be used as a slave? Do I need special equipment to do so? Thanks. |

If you want to use it as an optical slave, just turn it on and make sure the slave eye on the back of it can "see" your master light source. Bounced light will generally work - the eye is pretty sensitive. |

Oh, so I just have to make sure my 'trip' flash is slightly behind the flash? Thanks for your response. |

Not necessarily, the slave eye can also see the light bounce from a wall, ceiling or floor. Keep in mind the the flash output from the triggering light and the size of the room. |
