I just got the vagabond mini and was wondering how it would work with a LED light for the modeling lamp.... I am thinking since it is only 4 watts and produces VERY little heat, would it dramatically shorten the life of the VML? |

It would run by itself for about 24 hrs, mathmatically. How detrimental it would be would depend on how high you will be firing the Bee and how long you take firing the flash (total shoot time). The shorter the amount of time, the more shots you can get since the light would not be running down the VML for that extra period, nor will the VML inverter be running down the battery. There is no possible way to put a definitive figure on how the VML will be affected under X and Y circumstances. |

I think... on a 2 hour shoot it would consume 1/12 of the battery according to that math. So less than 10%. Which means I still should due able to get at least 3-4 hundred shots at full power on a b800 during that 2 hour shoot...correct? Im just trying to figure out if I could conduct a 200 to 300 shot shoot with a LED modeling lamp on the b800... |
