From what I understand, no it isn't. normal.(but only had my lights for a few weeks.)
Is that an Alien Be or an Einstein?

Be sure you pull the levers back so the locking "fingers" are fully back in position and hold the modifier in place securely.

I would not use a modifier if it looked like that, it looks like it will soon fall off and break the modeling and flash lamp bulbs in the process.

It's a bee. It seems secured now but still little gap, between bee and softbox

What brand of Softbox is that? The gap does look abnormally large in the photo, but it seems to be more of how the speedring is designed.

Compare the 7 inch reflector that came with your AB to the one you show here. I would say that they are way different from each other in design. Fit is everything when it comes to speedrings.
