Recently bought an Einstein. I do not use my modeling lamp with my mini ( Did once, shut down a few times even on lower settings). Few weeks later(worked fine since) I have had it plugged in, for 2 different shoots and I use the lamp with my beauty dish. Light will turn off after about 50 frames (sometimes less) and not come back on for a while. Also something doesn't smell particularly right. Unfortunately, almost every purchase this year has gone wrong. I recommended this company to a friend who had a DOA Ab800. Not sure what is going on.

I sent my mini back the first day because of cosmetic issues. I really just want this fix. It happen on a gig today, and didn't come back. On Friday I have a huge gig I needed it for, and I am worried about it's "condition".

Any help! I do love this company, and always recommend.. I just have had some bad luck recently.

You need to call customer service.....like right now.

It does seem there is a fault in the unit and this would need to be resolved via customer serivce.
