Hi, I've read somewhere that you could use the new folding softbox with Alienbees AND speedlight (like the Nikon SB-800). I just want to confirm that it's true before ordering. I have the old model with the separate ring right now, and just had to put a bracket for speed light (the photoflex one) and it worked with the old softbox. Since these are not available anymore and I need other softbox. I'd like them to be compatible with all my light source. Any help would be much appreciated.

There are no known adapters that use the Balcar/PCB mount. There are adapters that can be had, for the right price, if you can find them. You would have to convert the box to a Bowens mount, then get a speedlite to Bowens adapter.
