Einstein firmware v.29 is now on line at the link below.
http://www.paulcbuff.com/fw-e640.php
This firmware only updates drivers for the latest versions of internal components. There is no customer useability functions associated with this update and is not necessary for users running v.26. Nor is there any performance benefit from the new versions of internal components. We recommend any user not running v.26 or v.29 to upgrade to the latest firmware.

Firmware update went fine, setting up the lights on the same channel was user error!

When the Einsteins update, they return to Freq 1 Ch1. Be sure both units are set to independant channels. Otherwise, the CC will only recognize one unit. It is also easier if both units are powered on during the OPEN FROM STUDIO proceedure.

If you wish to roll back to a previous version, the file path should be PCBUFF>E640>Config, Firmware, Load. Firmware and load should have the ...26.hex file in them, and in the Load folder, the .hex file should be read only.

The other post will be locked to keep one thread on the subject.

My mistake. I was changing the frequency on the einstein rather than the CH to 02. Everything is working again. I'll recorrect my post.

thanks again!
