Hello everyone! I bought a beauty dish, and it arrived bent. Will this affect the spread and quality of the light? Should I try to get it replaced?

Doubtful that it would affect the light much (unless it is really crunched), but depending on where it is bent, if the rim is out of round, you could later on have trouble mounting grids if you get them.

I own three BDs and they sometimes get out of round. A little pressure on the BD and they are ready to go.
Now if your BD came dented, thats a different story.

The main thing for light quality is, how was it bent? Let customer sercive know, and they will assist in any replacements that may be necessary.

It's not round any more. I'd call it more oval shaped now on the lip. I don't think grids would fit. However, I called this morning, and Paul C. Buff, Inc is taking care of it.
