A friend has an AB 400 and somehow the stand mount cracked. We had to use gaffers tape to keep it secured to the light stand because the bolt just pushes the cracked piece farther away from the light stand instead of tightening the mount.

Are spare parts available? If so, can the mount be replaced by the owner?
Thanks
Mike

The stand mount is user replaceable, quite easily. If the light is less than 2 years old, it would be covered under warranty, so call/write Customer Service first if it is. If not, here is a link to a replacement: http://www.alienbees.com/parts.html (the second item)

Thanks. I'll pass on the info.
Sounds like an easy fix.
