I have 2 ZAP 1000's, one fires and one does not. The also don't seem to work with my Pocket Wizard Plus II's. The unit that is not firing has all the same settings as the one that is firing. Any suggestions? Karen |

Have you swapped tubes between the two units to see if it is a tube issue? If it is not a tube issue, then the unit will need to come in. As for Pocket Wizards, where did you get the cords? You can get functional cords from Radio Shack, but you can also get some that do not work. Specifically, stereo or attenuating cords do not tend to work well with PW and our flashes. |

I have not swapped out the flash tubes yet, I do think it is a dead tube though. Thanks for that verification. I got the cables from PW, however they were mini plugs and I bought adapters from Radio Shack. The adapters are stereo, I will return those and get mono. Thanks again! :-) Technical Support wrote: Have you swapped tubes between the two units to see if it is a tube issue? If it is not a tube issue, then the unit will need to come in. Yes, any Vagabond will work with any of our lights. Are the cables mono or stereo? If stereo, a mono adapter will work. If mono, then the adapter would become a defacto mono adapter as well, and something else is going on. |

The adapter is stereo, however the plug is mono. Great, looking into the Vagabond. Technical Support wrote: Yes, any Vagabond will work with any of our lights. Are the cables mono or stereo?
