I have an 20-plus years old Ultra 600 that hasn't been used for over a year. When I recently turn the power on the green ready indicator doesn't light up. However, the test button pops the flash and all other controls seem to work, i.e., pops on slave mode or synch-wired, modeling lamp turns on, flash power has no issues. Can I/should I do anything about it? My other flash is an Ultra 1200 with no issues and the green ready light works like a charm.

It has been our experience that if the green LED is not on, the light will soon fail. Be sure, however, the LED is actually visible in the back panel, and has not been pressed into the light and cannot be seen. Should you need service, please contact us to discuss your options.
