Wondering if anyone has tried hooking something like a RP JrX transmitter's 2.5mm port to the cybercommander's 2.5mm port?

RP is taking forever to release Einstein remote control support, so I'm wondering whether I can get a CC and strap them together via their 2.5mm ports and leave one on the camera to trigger the other? Yeah, I know...giant hack, but mixing speedlights and strobes w/ remote power control is nice :)

I have not tried that specifically, but maybe. The CC will fire via the 2.5mm jack when triggered from the hotshoe (but not from the meter or test buttons). But you can have one in the camera's hotshoe, and the other triggring from your PC terminal. If you do not have a PC terminal, you can get a pass through hotshoe adapter from FlashZebra and do the same thing. Or, you can get a Y splitter from radio shack, and appropriate cables +/or adapters and have one RP reciever trigger your speedlite and a CST.
