Total noob here, needing help!

I have a set of Cybersyncs (CST & 3 CSR) that I picked-up used a couple of years ago to use with my Canon 540EZ's. Thought I was getting CSRB's and the guy wouldn't take 'em back. They are great units, but I hate having to drag out power cords when I want to set-up lights. So, I going to sell them and pick-up something more appropriate. I have someone interested, but he had a question that I don't know the answer to.

He has AB 1600's, and wanted to know if he just plugs the CSR into the AB head. or does he need a sync cord? Any advise?

Craig

The AC power connection only supplies power to the reciever and passes through to the flash. One does need a sync cord to connect from the edge of the reciever to the sync jack of the light in order for it to trigger.

Thanks. That's what I thought. Does PCB sell the necessary sync cable?

yes. The CSSC: http://www.paulcbuff.com/cssc.php

I know you got yours used, but the cord should have shipped with the recievers originally.
