Well not completely weather sealed but at least slightly water resistant? I have the older cybercommander and I was cleaning it with just a little bit of water and saw a 1mm water spot underneath the plastic cover. Thankfully there are 4 screws so that I could access the cover to wipe the water off, but I just wanted to ask to see if this has been addressed in the newer cybercommander.

No. The new units are made identically, with the exception of the antennae housing being present on the new units.
