OK, just received my gear - WOW!!

I setup the CyberCommander to control 3 Einsteins and I'm floored...

To have the power to remotely control these Star Wars lights is sheer magic!

So here's where I'm stumped:
When using the Einsteins with the VML and CyberCommander, even though I turn off the modeling lights at the head to conserve power, the modeling lights default to on and begin to flicker rapidly. How do I program the lights and/or CC to resolve this issue?

BTW, one 8.5 HOR has a ding in it and one glass dome was shattered. Can I get an RMA to return for replacements?

I snapped off a few frames to document the damage, no doubt caused in transit.

I'm totally pumped to put this life changing gear through its paces.

The lights are flickering because the VML cannot supply enough power to run them and charge the capacitors. Since the CC is in charge, any changes made to the head will be overridden by the CC. To get the lights turned off in the CC, you can turn them off at the head, and do the "OPEN FROM STUDIO" routine. The CC will read the status, and update itself. Or in the existing set up, you can go to SETUP>LIGHTSETTINGS>MODEL LAMP=OFF.

You can use the SAVE AS option to save a set up with everything on, then one with model lamps off, and one with the flash units off (standby).

As for the damaged item, contact customer service, and they will gladly help with getting those replaced.
