When I set the modeling lamp to track the flash output power I've noticed that it always seems to be one bar higher than the flash output as indicated on the rear panel. Is this normal or an indicator of something wrong with the unit? |

There is an offset dialed into the relative tracking, which is not a real problem, but is easily fixed. If you are using the Cyber Commander, click to the MODEL screen, select the appropriate channel with the left joystick and press down one click to match the red dash to the top of the blue bar. Hint: the -X.Xf values in the upper right should match. If you are not using the Cyber Commander, use the function button to select the MODEL screen, then press the down arrow button one time to match the two bars. Doing this from the head when using Cyber Commander will result in the Cyber Commander reverting back to the offset value. |
