I just got the CST and the CSRB and I absolutely love it. I'm just not sure how to turn the CSRB off. The little green light just keeps blinking away. Any help would be much appreciated. I looked through the FAQ and didn't see this covered and searching for "CSRB" here brought back an "invalid search" page. Thanks! |

The CSRB and CSRB+ have an auto off feature. They turn off after an hour of non-use. There is no physical off switch. |

Thanks! I guess if it ever bothers me I can just pop out a battery. |

as long as it is plugged into the wall, it will be awake and on. For this reason, those who have a semi-permanent set up (installed in rafters, etc.) choose to go with CSR+ recievers, as battery powered receivers will shut off and need to be turned back on. They can power lights off or on at a breaker, and all things are good! |

Taking batteries out is certainly ok, but DO NOT reverse the batteries. |

The batteries will last a year or so when it's not being used, and about 200 hours of use-time. So most users will run the batteries down faster from using it every few days than from sleep mode draw. This sort of life is typical of most devices like flashmeters, etc. Most of my meters are usually dead after 6 months or so of non use. |
