Well first of all im new to the forum, I just got my equipment today and I was trying to set the ABR800 with my d7000, using the flash, d7k as commander but well it triggers the Ring Flash but light seems very little pictures are dark even at 4.3 1/60 iso100 and ABR at full 1/1. I dunno if the pop up is not working well, right now i dont have a sync cable hotshoe adapter for the camera to test, dunno if im setting this the wrong way. shutter and flash syncsa re 1/320 auto and 1/60.

Yes, that is the incorrect way. SInce you do not have a hotshoe adapter, put the built in flash in "M" mode. Dial this as far down as it will go (1/16 or lower). The commander and normal modes emmit a preflash that makes the flash fire prematurely.
