I really like my CSRB as it frees me up without being tethered by a sync cord. I was looking for a way to attach the receiver to either the AB or light stand. More by accident then planning I can up with a velcro wire tie that is used for bundling cables. These can be found at your local Home supply store in the electrical department. Just warp it around the light stand and receiver. It holds it nice a snug and can easily be removed. Sun Photo |

I put a piece of velcro on each side of my Alien Bee housings. I attached the CSRB to it and then plug in the cable. I have used them in this manner and left attached for three day basketball tournaments and still had to pull them away from the velcro. Works great for me. |

I was going to use adhesive backed velcro too but didn't want to "bugger" up the unit as in the past I have found the adhesive to age and let go leaving a sticky mess. I use these velcro wire ties to bundle up my cords when transporting my equipment. I actually first starting using these for the large amount of cords I have for my Karaoke gig equipment. Tons and tons of cords are now neatly bundled. Sun Photo |

FWIW- I have never tried this, but i have heard of the technique of laying down gaffers tape on the light (or whatever) and then applying the velcro to that. Gaf tape has the property of not leaving a sticky residue on whatever it is applied to. Though if left long enough, i am sure any adhesive will leae a residue. |
