Would storing the Vagabond Mini in it's original box after being charged cause any damage to the battery ? I'm talking about storage of several months or so.

The reason why I ask, is that some batteries let off hydrogen gas while they are depleting. This gas usually escapes with no harm done, but in an enclosed environment, I wonder if that gas could do any damage to the components inside the battery.

No, that is a fine storage plan.
