During a 5 light photoshoot, i often tend to test-shoot pictures having only one of the 5 lights on. Just to see what it does.
What is the easiest way to do this via my CC?
My lights are all Einsteins with CSXCV.

It's easy to press the testbutton for each light on the CC, but when i put it on my camera, all lights go. The answer might be to turn off the other 4 lights. But honestly, that's just too time consuming on the CC. So i am kind of hoping that you have somekind of solution on the CC, that i do not know of.

On the main Bracket Flash screen, use the left stick on the Cyber Commander and scroll (right or left) to the channel (not group)of the light you want to test alone... and then meter. That's how you do it. Not sure why it makes any difference if the CC is in the hot shoe... but it shouldn't. Make sure you are on the right channel and not a group.

When shooting via the hotshoe, all lights fire regardless of what channel is selected. The solution would be to set up groups with each light in its own group. When different groups are selected, only those lights fire even via the hotshoe.

"all lights fire regardless..." - That was also what i found out. So i guess @ImageX is wrong. I'll create groups with one light each and see what happends.

Thanx @TS

Well, imageX is correct when it comes to metering. However, I don't know if your shooting w/ one light stipulation was caught.
