I just got my Cyber Commander and a couple of CRS+ units today. I have two AB1600 units. I am having a problem with the modeling lamp control. The CC unit is triggering both strobes (and a Speedlight with a CRSB) so I know I have my channels and frequencies set correctly. I did go through the settings and specify the strobes as well as connecting them and plugging them in per the instructions.

I set the CC up so the AB's are channels 1 and 2.

I go into the LIGHT SETTINGS menu and then under MODEL MODE. When I choose the selection for FULL, ADJ or TRACK, both units work fine. But, when I set channel 1 for off, the model lamp on unit 1 goes to full brightness. When I set channel 2 for off, the model lamp on unit 2 shuts off correctly.

Likewise, I have channels 1 and 2 grouped. When I set that group for OFF, unit 1 goes to full brightness and unit 2 shuts off.

I swapped the CRS+ units and the problem is staying with the AB, not the CRS+ unit. So I am guess I have something bad in one of the AB1600?

Strange. This sounds like something you should probably call in about for more trouble shooting to really isolate the problem. Ask for David or Joe.

A new set of modified receivers arrived today and everything works perfectly. PCB really was great in terms of customer service. Thanks.
