Post subject:  Exposure Jumping Around (Alien Bee 800)

I've noticed that every other photo seems to jump exposures. At first I thought my camera was set to bracket, but it's not doing this. It seems to be the flash output is varying? Is this something replacing the flash tube will fix? Or do I need to send it in for repair?

This would not be a function of the flash tube. What power setting are you using and how fast are you firing? Also, are you using remotes, and if so which ones?

How long are you waiting between shots?
The flash will fire even if it's partially charged up....
