Can someone tell me where the audible tone / alert to indicating the strobe being fired comes from? Is it the trigger (CSRB+) or the strobe? I can't get the things to make noise for the life of me..

I'm using 2 b400, 1 b800, 1 X1600 with CyberCommander (non-antenna v29) and CSRB+. Under light setting on the CC I've set it to "Both" and "Sound" (or "Tone", whatever the correct word is.. I don't have it with me.) and still nothing.. strobes do not make a sound when fired via optical slave either, or with a test fire.

Apologies if I've missed something simple here, but I've searched to no avail.. I really want that audible alert!! :x

Thanks! :D

The audible ready indicator is only present on Einstein and Zeus. The X-series flashes do have an audible alert, but that is an error alarm and indicates something is amiss.

Unacceptable. I would like to register my complaint and request that you replace my 2 b400s, b800, and X1600 with Einstein units, for free. I will, since I'm nice, cover the shipping..

Please let me know where I should send my AB/WL units.
