Today, it dawned on me that every time I move a light stand, my Einsteins would rapid fire. Each time, I noticed that it happened, when I was passing within 8 inches of a daylight-balanced fluorescent tube in an overhead fixture.

Will the Einstein's optical sensor attempt to trigger from a conventional household fixture?
Or is it some kind of RF interference?

Placing some black gaffer's tape over the sensor seemed to quiet it.

Probaly picking up a flicker from the fluorescents. If you don't use the optical sensors, try turning them off to see if the problem goes away.

I have seen it happen with other brands of lights, but not Einstein specifically. Certainly plausible. You can use the function button on the back of the light to scroll to the window that has two arrows that point down and to the left (and will say ON or OFF). Use the arrow keys to switch this to OFF. If you are using Cyber Commander, you will need to turn the slave eye off via the Cyber Commadner, or redo the set up after the change is done at the head. Otherwise, Cyber Commander will override teh settings. If you need help with this, please let us know and we can walk you through it.
