Currently I am using the Cyber commander to trigger and control my Einsteins. I LOVE how much control the Cyber Commander gives me. What I am not happy with is the distance range (I shoot a lot of sports). I know I could use a Cybersync as a repeater, but not really interested in that extra step, so I am thinking of switching to pocketwizard for more range.

The question is, is there ANY way to use the pocket wizard system to trigger, and the Cyber Commander to control? In other words (if it's not clear on what I am trying to acheive)... I want to set up the strobes on one side of the stadium. Shoot from across the stadium with Pocket wizards for the range, and still be able to adjust the power output of the einsteins with the cyber commander. Understanding that I would most likely have to get closer to the einsteins to use the Cyber Commander...

Oh yeah, I am aware of the Pocketwizard AC3 zone controller, but from what I've read the cyber commander is more comprehensive.

Absolutely. The CC will control the flash units, and any trigger input (slave eye, test button, standard sync jack) will still trigger the light and honor the power setting assigned to the light. Also, grouping is also still honored even if the sync jack is used for triggering. Of course you will need to use a PW that connects via cable and not the MC2, as the socket for the MC2 will be occupied by a CSXCV.
