I have two vagabond mini pack and have been great. But over the last few week one unit has stopped working. The led lights still work and show full power but there is no power getting through to the flash unit. The same has just happend to my other mini as well leaving just one plug working and the other not working at all. I do know on the first pack that an assistant pulled the plug out and the unit plug came out with it but was still connected. it still continued to work but now both don't work at all. As I said both units show the led lights working and showing full power but no power through to the power plug part. These were brought in Australia from New Zealand.

has anybody had the same issues or know how to fix them with out loosing both units for a while, while they are being fixed. Is it a commen issue.

Thanks again, still love my mini's just want them working.
Cheers
Mike Hill

You say you have the LED's for the "fuel guage", but is the LED next to the USB lighting green?

Are you able to discern if any power is coming out of the outlets (albeit a lower power)? You can use a desk lamp (or similar) or a multimeter to check.

Ok so the leds lights all light up, full charge and the one next to the usb is green as well.
Plugged in a couple of different things and there was no luck at all.
I have found the outlets to be very loose and pop out from time to time.
Any thoughts from here.

Sorry, I missed the update. If, when you apply power, the LED lights go out, there is likely an issue with the battery itself. If the lights stay on, the issue is likely the inverter. In either case, the issue is not user correctible and unit(s) will need to be serviced via the dealer they were purchased from.

Out of curiosity, what lights were being used?

It is the inverter because the battery's work well in the unit that still works. For me I would have to send the units back to Australia. Something I am not willing to wait that long. Who could I take it to in New Zealand to get it fixed or looked at.

I am using the 640ws lights from you guys, the einsteins.

Is there someone else that can help me with this issue as this seems to be slightly long winded in reply time. Love the product just need it fixed and getting a few more answers would be great.

All warranty resolutions must go through the supplier from which they were purchased. We do not have any authorized repair facility in New Zealand. I can pass along your concerns tomorrow when we reopen. You can reach our main office customer support via email at info@paulcbuff.com or 1-615-383-3982.
