The B1600 ships with a 150W model lamp, and it is the maximum wattage. Being that you are in Europe, you probably have 220V Bees, which have a 230V modeling lamps. Voltage and Wattage should not be confused.

As for the adapter, I do not see what advantage it would give you, and it would throw off the model lamp pattern. Additionally, some modifiers may not fit, as the model lamp would protrude to far to allow mounting. The speedring mounted PLM, our foldable softboxes, our beauty dish and our reflectors with grids are specific examples that come to mind.

If the idea is to move the model lamp away from the light to prevent heat build up, it may accomplish that. However, I think the the disadvantages do not warrant the use of this adapter vs. using a lower wattage bulb.

yes that any Lightmodifier would not fit do i know.

The question was if ab1600 can handle the 250-300 watt without overheating and demage with

this adapter or will this adapter not help

If the model lamp is well ventilated and run for short periods of time, you may be ok up to 250W. However, it is not something we recommend.
