Hi everyone, my name is Hank; i've recently purchased a used vagabond 2 and cybersync set up with commander and + receivers. I ran through the flash registration in commander and everything works fine when my AB800 is hooked up into the electrical wall outlet. However, when plugged into the Vagabond, the "ok" light on the flash does not go on. If I remove the RJ11 from the flash then the green "ok" will go on and everything resumes to normal. I could trigger the flash optically. When the RJ11 is plugged back in, the flash will dump and green light goes away.

Please advise. I had a shoot today and it was a pain having to stay behind the flash to trigger it with my on-camera flash.

Hank Nguyen

First, select the ALL channel setting and fire the light. Sometimes this will force an update of the settings. If this does not work, make sure you have a blue bar. If not, try raising the power until it appears. If your model lamp is turned off in the CC, try turning it on in the CC and see if you get a response. If you do, turn the model lamp off at the head but leave it on in the CC.

One of these step should at least get you going, and we can trouble shoot after shoot.

David,
I would like to thank you for providing an awesome customer service. I sent in my battery inverter and got it back updated and working better than ever. Just in time for my wedding Photoshoot in two weeks. Have a Great day.

I am glad everything is working out. Let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist!
