Why they do that instead of put a response??? " I think it´s better stay with the Einstein. In the manual they tell from 1/2.200-1/25.000s for t0.5 time…at the same power the Einstein is much faster and still very quick in recycling and with the Vagabond Mini Lithium battery. With Vagabond Mini Lithium battery you put the Einstein at 25Ws to get 1/11.000s t0.1 or 1/36.600s t0.5 and around 10fps recycle power were in the Pro-B4 at the same power you only get 1/7.500s t0.1 and 1/25.000s t0.5. Good observations Pedro. I'd say you're correct about the t.1/vs t.5 times on the Profoto . . . 3 to 1, since they are not IGBT. On Einstein, because of the IGBTs, the relationship is a bit different . . . t.5 is about twice as fast as t.1 rather than three times. But even t.1 doesn't tell it all. Even following the t.1 time on a non IGBT unit, there is still a ghost at an intensity of -3.2f stops below the actual exposure, so for complete action stopping we really need to be talking about, gulp, t.01 (-6.4 f stops of blur). For the Profoto that time would be around 1/2500, but for Einstein it would be essentially the same as the t.1 time since the tube is absolutely turned off. Also the Einstein t.1 time at 40WS is 1/10,416 second . . . not much longer than at 25WS. Believe me, I do a lot of very careful and scientific testing of this stuff. |

They never do! D1 500 varies by 550°K from Full to Minimum power. They spec "5600° +/- 30°K" Shame!! |
