I'm using the Mini TT1 with AC3 going to MC2 on the Einstein 640. After making an output adjustment with the AC3 the response is immediate as indicated by the 640's ready light turning red. However the transition to the green ready state is very inconsistent taking anywhere from 1 second to almost 10 seconds. This inconsistency has nothing to do with the recycle time as I'm not making the changes that fast.

I just did another test using the adjust buttons on the 640 instead of the AC3 and I'm getting the same results. I did finally discover the ready light lag seems to only happen when reducing the output and it's almost instant when increasing the output.

This is due to excess power needing to dump. If you are set to full power, and need a half or 1/128 power shot, the extra energy needs to be removed from the capacitors. The bigger the change, the longer it takes.
