When attaching heavy modifiers, such as softboxes and octos, the head droops even with the lever fully tightened.

Are you tightening the handle until it meets the housing, or are you repositioning the handle to allow further tightening (i.e. pulling out on the handle, and rotating it counter clockwise, then let it go back in)?

What kind of boxes specifically are you trying? We have mounted our giant softbox as well as a 7' octabox with no problems with light drooping either in house or reported.

The boxes I was using were nowhere near that big, but I didn't know it was possible to reposition the handle like that. I suspect that bit of missing information is the source of the problem. Thanks!
