It sounds like a hyperactive GFI or a bad switch. In either case, the inverter will need to come in for a check. If the battery is working fine, you can fully charge it and disconnect it (making sure the battery leads to not touch), and send only the inverter to us. The time off the charger will not be detrimental to the battery as long as it is fully charged. If you suspect something in the battery, you can send it in for evaluation as well.
