Ok I have asked around other forums and been told that it's normal and some others have said it isn't normal so I thought I'd go straight to the horses mouth and get a proper response!! Basically the On/Off switch on my brand new AB1600 functions correctly however the plastic switch itself has a rather loose fit. You can kind of rattle it around a bit with your finger. Can the guru's please chip in and tell me the reason why it's like this and if it's normal?! Thanks |

I guess it depends on your definition of "loose". There will be some movement in the red portion of the switch, though it should not come out. Breaker switches of this type are often about as loose as these are, compared to say, a Vagabond or White Lightening switch, which are not a circuit breaker. I have never heard of this being a problem with red separating from the switch assembly or failing to function due to being loose. If the bezel portion is loose, then we may need to further examine the problem on your light. |
