Is it possible? My pocketwizards (zomg teh wirld is ending backups) will do it. However, id rather leave them in a bag in my trunk...

No dice. Tried it with both of my new style csts (my blue one doesn't have a port) a wein & a sonia. -Wein won't fire cst or pw -Sonia won't fire cst but will fire pw -cable works from pc port of camera What am i doing wrong? |

It could be the pulse width of the slave is not long enough to trigger the CST. In which case, there is not a whole lot you can do. Basic optical slaves my not work, you will need to look for one that has a pulse stretcher that can offer a 4us or longer pulse width. I am not sure how well this will be documented in product descriptions. Unfortunately, we do not have any specific recommendations. |
