The camera or lens should have a PC terminal. This can be used to connect the PC cord directly to the lights, or the PC cord of a transmitter, like a CST or Cyber Commander. At this point, it would then be like using any other camera.

Not that I can add anything to the discussion, but it's nice to see someone mention Speed Graphic in this day and age. It's how I learned to do sports photography many, many, many decades ago. No shooting bursts of 50 frames!

Hello Dick Hertz,
Same here, used them at high school football and basketball games. In the beginning it was with flash bulbs then we had a heavy battery pack slung over the shoulder. For an entire game carried about ten 4x5 film holders. Ah, we were big-time cool. 8-)

Cordially,

I set up my two X2400s on my Graphic View II 4x5 with no problems. I did have to modify the sync cord a bit. I have not used the 4x5 for some time now, the local developer I went to went out of business

Try these guys: http://northcoastphoto.com/index.html

I send all of my film work there. They do a great dip and dunk process and when I'm in a hurry or have a large batch of 6x7 film to develop I'll have them scan my transparencies as well, although they don't scan 4x5 or larger. I use my Epson 700 scanner to do 4x5.
