Post subject:  Heavy-duty light stand, top pin coming loose

Hi,

I bought Heavy-duty stands to hold my Einstein with mutliple modifier, the 47" octabox being the heaviest.

Recently, I noticed the the top pin, the one holding the flash, is coming loose on one side. The little pin that holds the 2 pieces together, that goes through both of them horizontally, seem to not be going through all the way anymore. I tried to push it in a bit, but I can't seem to move it at all.

Is there anything I can do about this? I'm worried that my einstein could fall off at some point if I don't do anything about it.

Thanks

The stud is riveted in. If there is a problem with it holding, you may want to contact customer service if it is under warranty (1 year). If it is not under warranty, then the stand will need to be replaced.
