Tried pairing up an AC9/FlexTT5 with an older B400. I can't get it to work, and the B400 does some wierd stuff when the Flex is powered on. The green "ok" light and red "dump" light flicker and alternate. The modeling lamp goes dim and bright at the same time. As if the flash was popping, but it isn't. The Flex set up will not pop it at all. I've tried different outlets and have the same results. I updated all the firmware on the Flex and Mini. Not sure what else to do? Any ideas?

I can only assist to the extent that I would trouble shoot the CyberSync system, as I am not familiar enough with the Flex system to effectively trouble shoot it.

Make sure the slider is set to full, and all three model buttons are pushed in. Make sure the light is plugged directly into the wall. Extension cords and power strips are generally OK, but by removing them for trouble shooting it is easier to trouble shoot. Make sure the AC outlet is properly grounded, and try a different circuit or location.

If the same set up works in another light, but not this one, there is the possibility the light needs to be repaired. Also, there could be a settings problem in the light, and you would need to contact PocketWizard to determine that.

I just got the AC3/AC9 setup for my original AB400's. You'll just have to make sure you power up the AB first, then power up the Flex after. The AB modeling lamp will go from bright to dim after turning on the Flex/AC9.
