I bought a WL 10,000 and it was missing the sync cord. I had a regular mono to pc cord that I plugged in from a different flash and it worked fine, is there any risk in doing this? I assume all mono to pc cords are pretty much the same?
Also, could I use one of these http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/6 ... emale.html to plug my ABsync cord into the WL 10,000?

There is generally no harm in using the other, mono, cord if you are on a properly grounded AC outlet. The OEM stereo cords are wired tip and ring, with the sleeve open. If the outlet is not properly grounded, and you use a mono cord, there is the potential of some voltage feeding back to the camera.

You can use the adapter listed, but a local Radio Shack will probably carry them as well.
