Hi guys!
is it possible to sync the 645DF with a 80mm LeafShutter lens at 1/1600 with alienbees?

I see it's with profotos, but still in doubt about pcb system. Would the Cybersync do the sync?

Cheers! :)

CyberSync can sync up to 1/2500 on some camera types. I see no reason it could not work with a leaf shutter to 1/1600. It is a function of the leaf shutter, not the flash, which allows synchronization at faster speeds.

It should be noted, however, if a shuttter speed is faster than the flash duration of any flash, then you will not capture the entire flash pulse, which will result in a lowered effective flash power (this is how HSS works).
