Looking for a few serious guinea pigs for this. Basically lets you do radiopopper JrX-like control from the cybercommander so it looks like this:
csrb+ -> gizmo -> rpcube -> old sb-25/sb26/sb28/sb80

Cost is $30 for the prototype gizmo to cover parts/shipping (to be sure you're serious).
Obviously, it'd help if you had the other parts besides the gizmo for testing...

Trying to figure out whether it's worth productizing (though I keep hoping the PCB folks will add it to the CSRB+ because I'm duplicating parts)-:

Yep. Turns out the guinea pigs that signed up found an issue w/ Canon speedlights (figures since I didn't have the gear to test with :( ) but it's fixed now (needed a small hardware modification to the prototype boards). They had 430ex/580ex flashes and I bought a 430ex to test with the Canon RPCube.

On the bright side, there seems to be more control w/ my adapter than w/ the Radiopoppers w/ Canon flashes. The RP only gives about 4 power levels w/ Canon flashes for some reason.

Next is trying to figure out how to shrink it more and design a molded case for it instead of the open cage frame it's in now :)

I would be interested in hearing more about this. Right now I only have one Einstein, and one 600EX-RT, (and a boatload of manual speedlights, but they don't count), but being able to mix control from studio to speedlight sounds awesome!

Actually, they do count...they're ideal for this precisely because they are inexpensive :-)
As long as they work with radio popper Jr rpcubes, you can control them with this adapter and a csrsb+
