Post subject:  Hot to trigger a Canon 600EX-RT speedlight with Cybersyncs?

Hi, I am brand spankin new here, so am hoping that someone is able to help me out with a few queries I have..

I currently have a Einstein and a transmitter and receiver for it and they work fine on my Canon 5DII. I have recently purchased a Canon 600EX-RT and was just wondering what I need to do to

a) Just trigger the 600EX-RT off camera

b) Trigger both the Einstein and the 600EX-RT off camera at the same time..

The only thing that I see is a "PC Terminal" that is listed on the Nomenclature page of the manual

I know that the Canon 600EX-RT also has radio transmission capability but from what I understand, this is only to be used with other Canon 600EX-RT flashes.

So basically, I would like to be able to use my Canon 600EX-RT whilst travelling, ideally keeping within the Paul C Buff range of products. As a second option, it would be nice to be able to trigger both the Einstein and the 600EX-RT at the same time..

Ok, thanks so much, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

In order to trigger the speedlite, you will need a CSRB or CSRB+. The advantages of the CSRB+ will only come if you are using a Cyber Commander. You cannot adjust power of the speedlite, but you can still meter group and fire it.

One of the above listed receivers will be necessary in either scenario. Also, you will lose any automation (E-TTL) when using CyberSyncs.
