I use the CSR+ transmitter and recently purchased the Vagabond II. I tried out the battery with one of my AB400s and the flash will not trigger nor will the test flash go off when using with the CSR+. If I plug the battery directly into the AB or if I use the cable to connect my camera to the flash everything works fine. If I have the CSR+ plugged in with the battery, nothing works. Is the CSR+ compatible with the Vagabond II?

It sounds like you may be using the telephone style jack and not using a Cyber Commander. If this is the case, be sure to use the 1/8' to 1/8" cord.

Alternatively, you may not have a cord from the receiver to the light, other than the power cord. Again, be sure you are using the 1/8 to 1/8 cable.

Also, to be sure, you have a transmitter in the hotshoe of the camera and a receiver on the light, correct?

Hi,
I didn't even think about trying the other telephone style jack cords. I'll check those and post my results.
Thanks so much for the quick reply.

OK, the telephone style cord will not work (properly). You must use the headphone style cord that goes into the round hole.

Also, does this same set up work in a regular wall outlet?
