My Einstein works until about these readings:

Pump 66C
Lamp 82C
HS 84C

Then it shuts off until it cools down. I've heard a fan before, specs say it has a fan, now i'm not hearing one come on.

Before I send it in for warranty, is there some setting I have buggered to cause the fan not to activate?

Yes it has a fan. Depending on the Firmware version, it may not come on until it heats up. If it is not coming on at all, then there is definitely a problem.

This is just to applaud the most extraordinary service received from PCB on an out of warranty item.
LUAP, here's to you, man and if you're ever in or near Philly, it's dining on me at the Capital Grill (they are not noted for pancakes, but the steaks and Jameson 18 are superb). With the ethics and care you show for your constituency, I hereby, officially, nominate you for president of the WORLD.

Thanks,

Ken Richmond

I don't want to be President of anything except my own company. Politics and ethics don't mix
