Post subject:  Einstein E640 light modifiers?

Hey,

I have the Einstein E640 Flash units. How can I use my Elinchom light modifiers with them? Which light modifiers can I use with these units? Or can I only use the original?

Thanks for helping

The Elinchrom modifiers (or those designed to mount to Elinchrom) will not fit to the Einsteins directly.
You will need a speedring or other adapter to make the modifiers a Balcar mount. These adapters may be listed as Balcar, Paul Buff, Buff, White Lightening, or Alien Bees when you go to purchase them.

We do not carry these adapters, but they may be available from Elinchrom (or their distributors) or the manufacturers of 3rd party modifiers (or their distributors). Also, there may be some modifiers that are not adaptable.

If you get the one for Aline Bees-Balcar, it should work (though we have not tested it).
