White Lightning X3200 and Vegabond Mini

So,I'm out shooting today and about 20 min into my shoot,I hear a loud pop come from the strobe. I check everything out and it seems to be ok. Then,I hit the test button to see if it fires,no fire. So,I start thinking the flash tube blew. I check the flash tube and it seems like it has blown. Dark color right at the beginning of the tube. The strobe is still on and running cause I can hear the fan working. End of shoot.


I get home and check everything again. I plug it into the wall,turn on the power,and it still runs but still no flash. I check the modeling lamp...no modeling lamp either. Anyone with a similar experience or might know what's going on. Please chime in because I'm over here starting to panic.

Dark areas near the flash tube are normal. However, it does sound like a problem in the head. Likely a capacitor of some sort.
