Hi, I have some Problems with my Einstein .I try to explain it. I set the Einstein on 16 and the Modelling light on Full . This is the Setting that I need .Why the Flash jumps permanently to Full and other Time goes to the Lowest by itself.Also the Modelling Lamp goes down and High and I dont really understand why the Modelling Lamp and the Flash changes everytime.What Iam doing wrong . I use the Action Mode .I really Hope that someone can help me with this Problem :roll: :oops: Thank you for Help Ascoa |

What are you using as a trigger? Pocket Wizards (TT1 or TT5) or CyberCommander? If it is either of these, then making an adjustment on the flash head will be overridden by the remote, and the behavior is not necessarily unexpected. Rectifying this will depend on the remote system used. |

The TT1 has control over the light via the MC2. Any change made by the back panel will be overridden by the TT1 settings. Instructions on how to avoid this will need to come from PocketWizard, as this is a setting in the transmitter. |

I have an issue related to this. The MC2 and MiniTT1 combo is great, except that it limits the range of the Einstein to the middle 6 stops. I can live with just 6 stops for a particular photo session, but I'd like to choose which six stops, either the top six (for product when I need power/ Depth of Field), or the bottom six (for portraits, when I want less depth of field). Is there a way to bias that selection of power range with either the MiniTT1 or the AC3? Like setting the midpoint of the 6 stop range at one stop below (or above) the mid-point of the Einstein's 8 stop range? Thanks and sorry if this co-ops your thread, or is an unsuitable topic for the Buff Forum (since it's more of a Pocket Wizard issue). Tom Meyer |

It is no problem asking the question. Yes there is a way to bias which six stop to use. However, this is a question best suited to direct to PocketWizard, as the setting will be made in the transmitter and or camera. |
