Working with Phase One and Leaf Shutter lenses that are capable to 1/1600th sync speed. I've recently tested with Profoto (B4 Pack and Air wireless in fast mode) and worked fine at 1/1600.

Now switching to the Einstein's that I own and I have both Buff Cybersync as well as PocketWizard Power MC2 transceivers for them.

I see the CSXCV Cybersync transceiver has a system latency or delay of 1/4000 sec (250usec) from camera contact to sync pulse generated. That should be fine, no? The Profoto Air in Fast mode have an even shorter 100usec delay. But as long as I can sync at 1/1600 I'm good.

Question1: Do you know what the PW Power MC2 transceivers are good to or what their delay is?
Question 2: Any known issues with using a rear curtain sync on either Cybersync or the MC2 - this would be at slower syncs clearly but just want to confirm all is Ok to drag shutter for motion blur then snap.

I'm aware that the strobe firing has to end inside that 1/1600th window which is why I love the Einstein's. I would have usable light at 1 stop down (i.e.: half power / 320Ws) which is a t.1 of 1/2000 sec.
If I need 1000Ws then it's three of them ganged up.

Which would be a really interesting exercise btw to see what light solutions can give 1000Ws of t.1 of 1/2000 sec...It's really a challenge to find, even in the Broncolor Scoro $10k pack range. Bowens may be closer but nothing yet beats you yet at any price if short duration is critical.

This would be better directed to Pocket Wizard. I have heard figures, but I do not want to speak out of turn, as this may have been incorrect, improved, or vary among models.

We have not done any testing on our end.

Thanks, will check with PW. Regarding the Cybersync transceivers, rear curtain is not an issue?

I've successfully synced Fuji CS1 (Leaf shutter - discontinued) at 1/2500 with CyberSync.
