Each time I do a search this window appears: "The following words in your search query were ignored because they are too common words: dish beauty.
You must specify at least one word to search for. Each word must consist of at least 3 characters and must not contain more than 14 characters excluding wildcards."

My search is from the small search field, then I tried the full search page all with the above message. Here is my search criteria I tried; beauty dish, +beauty +dish, beauty, dish; all returned the above message. Searching for other products and information that same message appears as well. This is quite frustrating.

Would you please explain how to search this forum obtaining results I look for.

Im having the same problem - cant seem to search no matter what I put in there.

Here's a little trick I often use to search forums. I use Google.

In Google's search bar type in: site:www.paulcbuff-techforum.com <search term>

The "site:" tells Google to only return results from this forum.

You do have to be specific. Beauty dishes have been discussed often in this forum and just searching "beauty dish" does not really narrow it down much. Try something like "beauty dish grid" or "beauty dish spread" or some other specific aspect you are looking for.

Thank you both Shampoo and Technical Support. Being more specific does help. Here is one response I received after using +table +top: "You specified too many words to search for. Please do not enter more than 10 words." My search uses only two words.

My goal was to see if anyone have used a beauty dish for still life table top type shots. Instructions say to put a + in front of each work to look for.

I do not recall any topics extensively discussing beauty dishes for table top. Feel free to ask the group, though I would suggest starting a new topic.
