So I need to use my Einstein E640’s in the rain on the Mini Vagabond’s. The problem is that the lights need air movement. Is there a “softbox” of sorts that I can mount around the Einstein light head such that there is 8-12 inches of “air” around the head of the Einstein and is vented to allow for air movement while shooting in a downpour? I would need a similar setup to protect the Mini Vagabond’s. Something vented to allow for air flow, but good enough to keep the water out. Even if this is something I need to fabricate on my own, I am looking for ideas and suggestions. |

I can't help with your query, but have to say I would love to see the shots you're willing to put nearly $1000 of equipment in a downpour for, covered or not. :) |

This has been discussed previously. Most recently, viewtopic.php?f=8&t=4121&hilit=rain Water damage is both potentially hazardous and not covered under warranty. |
