Just looking for suggestions on a hard case that will house a light and a VBM. I have 3 lights and 2 VBM's but usually do location shoots with a single light. So a hard case I can throw in my trunk or check baggage would be awesome.

The soft cases are fine for most times but I worry when traveling with them.

I get 2 Einsteins, 2 VML's, cables, CC, and a few other accessories into a Pelican 1514. Fell off the back of my truck at 30 MPH with nothing more serious than road rash on the case.

I just got a Pelican 1650.

I have two AB's, one VLB and one Einstein. It can hold that, all the cables, one SB-910 and I figured I still have room for at least another two Einsteins and maybe another VLB.

I used a LowePro 300 rolling case for four Einstein lights, four Vagabonds, cords and transmitters/receivers. A SKB weapons type case worked for four light stands, eight PLFs and some background stands. Both have wheels,
